Again, extensive communication skills are not required. Has your child ever come and dragged you from the couch so you could get something for him or her? Again, use your own judgement to decide what you think will be most suitable for your daughter.
Toilet-training is a complex skill. Next he learns to respond to these urges by running to the potty, where he must know how to remove his clothes, how to situate himself comfortably on this new kind of seat and how to hold his urges until all systems are go. Toilet training is not something you can teach in a day – sometimes it may take weeks or months with minor relapses if your child becomes troubled or ill. You can be lucky, however, and your toddler may step out of nappies within a couple of weeks and not look back. Toilet training a toddler does not happen in a day. This is a milestone that will command our attention day and night for a while.
